Importing into Anark

Step 4. Importing into Anark Studio

  • Go to File Import Resource and select your file
  • It will appear in your library on the left.

Step 5. Putting your model in the scene and scaling it correctly.

  • You now need to scale it up in size so you can see it
  • With my model I scaled it up to 50 and rotated it to get it where it is in this picture

Step 6. Making your textures appear or adding textures

  • Find the part or group you want to texture and open it
You will see a blue checkered box that looks like below
  • This blue checkered box is how you apply textures to your model.Anark comes with several standard textures in the storage pallette as shown to you right. If you want to use these just click on one and drag it on the blue checkered boxIf you want to use your own textures just import it or drag the image from the folder into the library.
  • Anything you use will be kept in the library so just drag the thing you want from the library into the timeline

Problems that can Occur

  • If your textures aren't showing up click on the checkered box and change the diffuse color in the inspector pallete as to the right
  • Sometimes the diffuse color will have to be completely white in order for you to be able to see the texture
